I was looking for something that would charge through the USB and not take up too much shelf space. I bought this charging dock even though there were no reviews. So I took a chance and I have to say I am very happy with it. It does its job perfectly and comes with a battery. It works quite simply. plug it into a USB port. Put the battery in it. Light turns red to show it is charging. Light turns green when finished. Very simplistic, and simple is good. It charges the battery in less than 3 hours, and it lasts pretty long. I don't think it lasts as long as the Microsoft battery, but hey its cheap. It is noticeably lighter than the Microsoft battery. The Microsoft battery also charges in the dock, so you can keep swapping batteries without a pause. Overall it works as you would expect, maybe even better. I have had no troubles and I am very pleased.
