(More customer reviews)What's the first thing a company does when they know that they have a huge hit on their hands? How about try to rake in a few extra bucks with the least amount of effort put in? That's the way that Watchmen: The End is Nigh plays. The game looks beautiful, the characters are rendered in stunning HD graphics and the environments are too. These are the only good things that the game has going for it however. The gameplay is boring and tedious. The combos do not vary much and new techniques learned do not feel beneficial since simple button-mashing still suffices. Constantly throwing opponents works better than anything else, along with attacking them while they are on the ground. The later special moves feel unresponsive, and as stated earlier, do not vary a whole lot. The AI is rather slow as well resulting in easy encounters with dull enemies. There might still be fun within this game, seeing as I still played it despite these flaws, however I would not recommend anyone to buy this game unless they absolutely loved the movie, like I did. If you're a major Watchmen fan then you can definitely get past these flaws otherwise I say to please save your money.
