(More customer reviews)I read up on this kit and so I went ahead and bought it seeing as how its the best one on the net to fix your xbox's red ring of death. You do need a power sander to sand down the metal standoffs in the case because hand sanding takes way too long, other than that you need basic hand tools such as flat head screw driver and maybe a pocket knife of some kind. The torx screwdrivers are provided which was also convenient. The package comes with an easy to follow picture installation guide that shows you step by step how to properly install everything. I had never opened my 360 before I ordered this kit, but opening it was easy and complete dis-assembly is easy as well. The whole install took me about an hour. I had the RROD with error 0110, and the kit itself didn't fix my RROD so after I was done I heated up my GPU heatsink with a very hot hair dryer for about 45 seconds and then tightened up those 4 heatsink screws tight with a flathead and eased off 1/4 turn to add pressure, let cool for 10 minutes, that allowed the solder in the RAM chips to reflow or re-adjust to make a better connection. I then pressed power and my xbox was on once again, like it never happened. Buy this kit, its worth every penny plus your xbox will run slightly cooler!
