(More customer reviews)Bionic Commando: Rearmed is a remake of one of the most revered NES games of all time. Rather than just make the graphics prettier for the update, developer Grin added more enemies, weapons, and gameplay elements, making BCR my personal favorite retro-remake.
You don't have to be a fan of the NES game in order to enjoy BCR. Its unique gameplay (instead of jumping from platform to platform, you use a bionic arm to swing) still feels completely fresh and satisfying. The graphics are amazing, and the music is some of the best I have heard in ANY video game in years. It's truly amazing stuff.
At $10, BCR is a steal. It demonstrates how ALL remakes of classic games should be handled, and it is one of the best values among downloadable titles.

Duke Nukem 3D Review

(More customer reviews)This is another, but highly entertaining port of the Original Duke Nukem 3D. It includes multiplayer and co-op, but unforunately, you can't split-screen with it. The graphics weren't reworked to work with Xbox HD, but instead you get a High Quality Frame around the gamescreen.
The gameplay is similar to Deus Ex, with levels with tons of flexibility and secrets. Some of the door button puzzles might frustrate those who can't do a simple combination puzzle, but adds a small bit of intelligence to Dukes Steroid filled rampage. The quotes of Duke Nukem are very memorable as well, ranging from the infamous "I'm gonna rip off your head and @&*$ down your neck" (And he actually does it in his own comical cinematic) and many more quotes you may enjoy.
Doom and marathon may be the "classical" shooters, but Duke Nukem does it in style!
The Amazon Code System also works well too, they give you a code and if you forget it, you may revisit it and write it down online.
