(More customer reviews)But I did receive the stand and wanted to release my initial impressions. I should be getting the keyboard next week and I'll edit my review then.
First impressions:
The quality of the stand is top-notch; the frame is comprised of tubular metal and the rubber feet are textured and grooved for non-slip performance. The metal cradle utilizes thin strips of foam to support the keyboard gently and presumably to prevent scratching on the bottom of the keyboard. The vertical portion of the stand is braced on a T-frame and seems quite sturdy; there is no danger of buckling in the frame that I could discern.
The stand itself is adjustable with a push-button / slide assembly. This is a little hard to slide, but I don't plan on moving it much once I've set it to a height that's comfortable. Heights appear to range from something that would make it easy for a 6-year old to operate the keyboard to a height that would be comfortable for someone who is about 6' tall to operate the keyboard.
I'm actually tempted to rig this as a steering wheel platform at its lowest height with the use of a 2 x 4. I'll report on this later as well.
Overall, it appears to be a perfect accessory for the RB3 keyboard. I will update my review once I receive it and perform a mock test by tickling the keys a bit. Stay tuned.
** EDIT Received keyboard on 10 / 8 / 2010 **
I received the keyboard and put it on the stand. Played with the keys and simulated some of the warble game play on the keyboard itself. The stand is pretty sturdy, even with aggrssive side-to-side movements. The game won't be delivered until 10 / 26 / 2010, but I still give the stand 5 stars!
** EDIT Stand Modification on 10 / 11 / 2010 **
I would recommend placing the brackets on the stand in the opposite direction then what is shown in the directions. Otherwise, the keyboard has a tendency to "ride up" on the sloped bracket when tickling the ivories.
** EDIT Stand During Gameplay on 10 / 26 / 2010 **
The stand during gameplay does wobble a little, especially when you distort notes with the touch pad during gameplay. However, it never wobbled alarmingly or led me to believe that anything was unstable. The stand help up quite well during 4 hours of gameplay. I stand behind the recommendation to get it, just be sure to modify it as I noted on 10/11/2010.

Xbox 360 Cooling Station Review

(More customer reviews)The Glow Stand Fan is a great accessory, one perhaps every XBox 360 user should not be without considering all of the heat issues the console has. I haven't used the other products that are out there, especially the Nyko due to users commenting that it melts onto the 360 and voids the warranty. Thus I can't compare the Glow Stand with others but this product is excellent. During my Oblivion marathons the air coming out of the back isn't quite so hot so to me that's reassurance that the Glow Stand is doing its job. The fans are relatively quiet-- as someone else already stated they're no louder than the 360's fans. The lights are pretty ambiguous; however, they do make it look a little bit more cool when they're on, and they act as a nice reminder that the product is still on so you don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. Yes, you have to actually turn it off and on yourself, but if you're incapable of flipping a little switch then what are you doing playing video games in the first place? I love my 360 so a cheap add-on that helps with heat issues, doesn't void the warranty, and isn't annoyingly loud is pretty much a no-brainer in my book. Great item, get it.
**EDIT***
I read about the new Nyko Intercooler EX on IGN and how the new model has fixed the problems of melting and so forth. I've purchased it and it works excellent! Working in tandem, the Glowstand and the *new* Intercooler EX make my X-Box feel like it just started up after 3+ hours of use, both to the touch of the console itself AND frame-rate and load times. Xbox 360 Vertical Stand with Storage Review

(More customer reviews)This stand isn't all that great. The picture on the box makes one think that the Xbox 360 somehow hooks onto it, but instead it's just sitting on it. That's not very secure, so this thing won't stop your Xbox from falling over. Also, the game storage doesn't allow for larger-than-normal cases; if you have the limited edition of Perfect Dark Zero, it doesn't fit in the game storage. Other than that, if you want somewhere to put your games and your Xbox, this works.

Universal Guitar and Mic Stand Review

(More customer reviews)I was hesitant to buy the stand without a picture or review, but decided to take a chance since it was less expensive than the others and in the description sounded like the right item. It is exactly what I was looking for. It easily holds guitar hero and rockband guitars and feels sturdy on my fireplace landing. It takes up very little room. It has nice metal construction and is easy to assemble out of the box. It is easy to convert to a mic stand which is what I really wanted and needed. It comes with an extra extending pole that can extend it to 6 foot, but you do have to take off the part that holds the guitars to put that on. This is not a huge problem as it quickly unscrews, but some might want to know. I keep the mic extension in one of the extra guitar slots, since I only have a couple of guitars. Overall, I think that this is great for someone who has a couple of extra guitars, but also wants the mic stand to sing and play. It looks identical to the pictures of the out of stock React Guitar/mic Stand on Amazon. I hope this helps.

Xbox 360 Kinect Floor Stand Review

(More customer reviews)First things first. Looking at the larger picture of the stand it gives the illusion that it is adjustable. After researching forums before my purchase I found out that it not adjustable, despite the ring in the middle that makes it look adjustable it is not. Even the people at the store I purchased it (a certain game store) at said it was adjustable from looking at the picture, and I had to tell them I read that it wasn't. I can confirm that, because I just assembled it. In the product description it fails to tell you what the dimensions are, it is 24 inches tall. Which puts you in minimum height level for the sensor. Next it is made out of plastic, it feels durable, but I haven't had anyone bump into it yet, it is basically 2 pvc pipes put together. Once you pick up the small box it comes in you can immediately tell from the weight it isn't make out of metal. However now that I think of it, if it was made of metal and it does fall to the ground the sensor would hit the ground harder because of the weight. Maybe plastic would be better. Not sure. So with all this being said why did I rate it 4 stars when it seems like it is all I've talked about is cons.
I rate it high because I knew all these cons before purchasing (with research). I have a 73 inch Mitsubishi DLP and it is on the manufacturer stand in a very large room. The kinect requires you to be about 6 feet from the TV, which is too close with a TV this large (also which happens to be right below my ceiling fan). This stand allows me to move it a couple of feet in front of TV (and away from the fan), and put me in the sweet spot for viewing and playing. It is ideal for large TV's in a big room (it says this in the box). Since it is only 2 feet high, and you are playing the kinect standing in front of your large TV, it shouldn't be in your viewing area. In addition, I like it because the sensor is easily removed by depressing clips, and the stand is easily kept aside when not in use.
Now why did I take off 1 star. It is for the lack of product description on the box as well as the retailers. It should say somewhere what the dimensions are at least on the box. The description also says it is "Weighted, sturdy base with a sleek piano black finish", here on Amazon as well as the manufacturer website, when it is very light, not more than 1 to 2 pounds if not less. So a slight bump would knock it over. On the actual box they replace the word "weighted" with "wide," on the same sentence. Probably because most people wouldn't consider it weighted. In addition there is a slider thing on the portion top of the stand that connects to the sensor that I have no idea what it is there for. It doesn't say on the manual, and its driving me nuts why they put something there and it doesn't say in the manual what it is for. I can't figure out what is for. If you know, please reply in the comments. I would like to know.
Overall, for the same retail price or much less you can buy a foot stool, small table, toddler chair, stack of boxes, that would do the same purpose. It is quite expensive for what it really is, when you can buy speaker stand in a pair for the same price. However, if your like me and want something custom to the product, this works and does the job. Just know what your are buying before you spend the money.
