I personally think its a really good idea to hook it up to your computer so your xbox 360 wont get stressed out or over heated in other words and your 360 will last longer.

The charger unit is fairly small and unobtrusive, and the battery packs (two are included with the unit) hold their charge well. The battery packs snap firmly into place on the wireless controller, and don't really change the weight or balance as compared to regular disposable batteries.
I don't have a wireless headset, so I can't comment on the unit's ability to recharge that item.

2) It lasts longer then my official Microsoft batteries
3) Its rechargeable. No more throwing alkaline batteries in the garbage.
4) It fits perfectly in my official Microsoft wireless Xbox controllers
5) It fits perfectly in my official Microsoft charging cradle
6) Very high quality product packaging (this says a lot!)
7) Very high quality product feel. This feels just as high quality as the Microsoft version. Its heavy, hard, clean - all the signs of a quality product.
8) Good brand. I have lots of Nyko stuff for my Xbox, Wii and PS3. All of the products are of the highest quality with ZERO failure rate. I'm a value, reliability and quality oriented shopper; and Nyko goes beyond my high expectations.
What more can I say. Just buy these!

The only reason they have so many good reviews is because they date back to 2006 when they were actually new stock. Batteries cannot last 4 years without being charged/discharged. Repeat do not buy!

Gives me 3-6 hours of play time per charge, and having the extra battery lets you continue the cycle so you never have to use traditional batteries. You cannot buy replacement batteries from the company. If I ever need to replace the batteries, I will definately buy the whole setup again. Great price, great quality, and good customer service! Rating: A.

They come in a 2 pack which is nice cause no one has just 1 controller, you can get them in black or white and no extra cost due to color. I usually don't go with generic products when it comes to my xbox 360 but I'm glad I did this time. Fits fine in both the controller and the charging station I have. The battery play time is just about the same as the official Microsoft Rechargeable batteries.EDIT: APRIL 2011 (1 yr after using product)
This battery still holds a charge as well as my official "Microsoft" rechargeable batteries. When I bought this battery, I bought a brand new "Microsoft" battery as well and have been switching back and forth using each one until they die as a test against this unit's capacity. I will never buy another Microsoft battery again when presented with choosing this battery or an "official" one.
In retrospect, the only con about this battery is that it doesn't sit "flush" with the back of the controller. I figure that since the majority of my time spent using this battery involves me looking at a screen, and not the controller, this is so minor as to not affect my future purchasing decisions in a negative way.
