Xbox 360 250GB HardDrive - Xbox Slim Only Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The fact that you have to purchase Microsoft branded drives for the 360 "IS" kind of ridiculous; especially being that they charge about 60% over the retail cost of a 250GB hard drive.
The drives however are solid. There is one known issue with this model of drive in the new 360 Slim. If the drive isn't inserted "just right" you will get what appears to be a "red dot of death" and the console won't work; however, all you have to do is remove the drive and re-insert it making sure it is in all the way, and the problem will correct itself.
And yes, ... I own a 360 slim with this drive in it....

Xploder 360 Cheat Saves Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I did have a little trouble hooking up the device initially, but that was due to my unfamiliarity with the product. Games that I have in my collection, that for one reason or another I couldn't play are leaping off the shelves giving me some real competition and enjoyment that I always felt they could. It's not that it makes the games any easier, it allows you access to the money, ammo, items, everything you need to get your gamne on and on. This is the best in game save systems.

Xbox 360 250GB Halo Reach Console Bundle Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I sold my older model Xbox and purchased this Reach bundle as a replacement. After unboxing and testing it out, I have to say its a huge upgrade from my previous model. It runs quieter and cooler since the "Slims" are built on the new 45nm "Valhalla" motherboard architecture which also require less power. Finally some built-in Wi-Fi too.
It looks beautiful...Bungie's custom artwork really sets this thing apart from the rest....work of art. The custom Reach controllers also look great and compliment the Xbox's Reach design theme. Not to mention you get "two" of them in this bundle....in my case I have a brand new spare now to store away for later.
The custom sounds when powering up this Xbox and opening the disc tray were neat, I liked them. Further adds to the Halo theme.
Also included as a bonus with the Reach Xbox bundle were codes for: Falcon Avatar accessory, Elite officer armor, Spartan Recon helmet, an episode of Halo Legends called "The Package", and a 2-day Xbox Live Gold trial. The console is also Kinect-ready.
5-stars, anything less would be absurd.

Halo 3 Edition 20GB Hard Drive for Xbox 360 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Just got this HDD and snapped it right in and powered up my 360 to find only 13.9 gigs of useable space, what the heck? If you can't use 20 gigs don't label it 20 gigs because I was expecting 20gigs.
I'm not looking to download a lot of stuff, really I just wanted more storage for game save and such so the missing 6gigs doesn't hurt me but if you want to download demos and movies do not get this drive. Spend the extra money and get a bigger one.
It works but I feel a little ripped off.

250GB Hard Drive for Xbox 360 (Generic) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Ok the 250 (generic) or any other generic HDD works great...BUT it WILL NOT PLAY ORIGINAL XBOX TITLES. But there is a fix. Go to link [...] or google xbox-scene.com and look up the thread "Xbox games dont work selfmade HDD problem" and follow the instructions. I had to do some serious digging to find this out. You will need a transfer cable to hook up to your computer in order to restore partition 2. The program used is "Xplorer360 Extreme2" you must run the program as computer administrator. The Generic HDD's are missing a working partition 2 file which is basically the original XBOX emulator and will not work until you do this. Otherwise this hard drive will only play 360 titles. Its a pretty easy fix but it still sucks you have to bother doing all this. it was hard for me to find the proper info to fix the problem so I hope my review here will at least help people that buy this HDD fix the problem a little easier.

Xbox 360 Console Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have owned numerous xbox 360's since they came out. I Started with the original 20 gig, and after having some issues with some accessories with it (the intercooler i bought literally melted into the back of my 360) so i upgraded to the Elite. I loved the console, and never once had an issue with it. but there were always some negative things about it, including the noise, the size of the power brick, and how hot the games would get at times while playing. I only bought this at midnight but I can say its great so far, and you save 50 bucks by getting this bundle.
What i love so far:
- love the new look. my elite was black, but the console was bulky. the new one has a sleek design and is more compact.
- The touch sensitive buttons are cool, you don't even have to press.
- The power brick is much smaller, and leaves way more room.
- The xbox is much more quiet
- 3 USB hookups is great
- 250 gig hard drive is all i will ever need.
- The kinect is just amazing. works extremely well, recognized my every movement and voice command. the is definitely next gen gaming. Its just awesome. already used video chat, and the camera actually follows you around, whether you go up or down or anywhere. i cannot wait to use it more

Xbox 360 Hard Drive 250GB - Not for Xbox Slim Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Item arrived a day early which was excellent. Packaged nice and kept quite secure in box. Instructions for transferring all my stuff from 120 gb hdd to the 250 couldn't have been simpler. I would reccomend this product to anybody with an expanding game collection who would like to install games on their hard drive. The reason i do it is to prevent the system from overheating and getting a RED RING. My system runs quieter now and my load times have been cut drastically and my stystem overall performs much better. 5 stars all the way.

XBox 360 Elite Hard Drive 120GB -- Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Bought it used. Arrived in excellent condition. How often does anyone actually handle a HDD anyway. Popped it onto my xbox360 and worked immediately. Great storage space. It's also my first Xbox360 HDD so I'm glad I didn't go for the 60GB one cause I would have ended up with about 50GB to use for games. This one at least left me almost a 110GB to save games, music, videos on. If you can get it used from a seller who has over 97% approval rating with more than 1000 reviews, get it. Bought this one under 50 bucks. good buy
