This Ben Q drive will fix all your problems and bring your system back to life like when it was brand new.
This replacement drive must be flashed with dvd key from original xbox 360 dvd drive before it will recognize games correctly. The process of flashing should probably be left up to professional installers but it can be accomplished by average users with the right amount of reading.....The program needed to flash is called jungle flasher,it can be googled. The flashing process is not modding the console to play copies, it is just copying the dvd key over to the new drive from the old dvd drive, so it is safe on xbox live and you probably won't be banned from xbox live 99% sure
Also because of the flashing process this model drive is able to replace any model that you currently have in your 360 ( toshiba, lite on , samsung, benq, and hitachi)

(More customer reviews)The fact that you have to purchase Microsoft branded drives for the 360 "IS" kind of ridiculous; especially being that they charge about 60% over the retail cost of a 250GB hard drive.
The drives however are solid. There is one known issue with this model of drive in the new 360 Slim. If the drive isn't inserted "just right" you will get what appears to be a "red dot of death" and the console won't work; however, all you have to do is remove the drive and re-insert it making sure it is in all the way, and the problem will correct itself.
And yes, ... I own a 360 slim with this drive in it....

You can buy one brand new with a controller and game and cables for $150 at Walmart. I owned one for a year and now it's still being used by one of my buddies in Iraq. This system does not come with very much memory, but I never found any of need for memory. Now if you're a hard core gamer, or you want to download music, games, movies, etc. then you might want to go with one of the larger memory systems, but it will cost you around 100$ extra. I loved it and am happy I did not waste my money on memory I did not need.

NBA Live 2006 Review

(More customer reviews)In my opinion overall NBA live 2006 is the best game of the series to date, when you take in to account the extra features and small additions to the gameplay. However, whilst always improving the look, and features of the game, certain aspects which could be drastically improved are being neglected. The individuality of players has almost completely left the game. In NBA Live 06, the only thing which sets apart two 'playmakers' or two 'scorers' are the way they look and what singlet they are wearing. Ballhandlers all make the same moves, dunkers all make the same dunks. In saying that let me stress the dunks and moves are better then ever and look fantastic.
Graphics: As long as you have a decent video card etc the graphics of the game are as good if not better then ever. The stadiums look absolutely fantastic and the crowd, bench and coach detail is remarkable. The creators have still not quite got the players looking as smooth as possible but still a vast improvement on previous years. The close up video shots in timeouts etc look just like the real players.
Sound: At first the sound appeared to be brilliant as far as commentary goes, with different combinations on different games even. However as is always the case there are certain phrases and such which appear to be coming out constantly and every now and then a random comment which seems to have nothing to do with what is happening in the game. Great commentary in a game will be a tough aspect to master, and they haven't done it yet.
Gameplay: The general gameplay is excellent. The freestyle aspects to ball handling is a huge plus in the games favour and gives you a lot more control over what you player does with the ball. The penetrating and passing/rotating around the three point line to find an open man is fantastic, probably the most enjoyable gameplay yet. However one of the biggest downfalls of the game in my opinion is some of the unrealistic aspects of the game including the fact that the offense almost averages an offensive rebound per offensive play. Defenders (whom you are not contolling) out of position quite a bit.
Features: The features in the series are getting better and better. With the All - star weekend, 3 point competition, fantastic dynasty mode.
Lasting appeal: For players who enjoy the game the everlasting appeal of the game is fantastic. THe dynastic mode lets you take control of a team, hire staff, trade players etc as well as play the games. Great stats and players of the month are great extras in the mode. Of course there is always the multiplayer option and online play.
Overall: Not the perfect NBA Live game but in my opinion the best yet and you can easily look past the few downfalls and get long-lasting enjoyement out of the newest addition to the NBA Live series.

(More customer reviews)My xbox 360 have had this problem where it won't read any of the disc most of the time. I have to keep ejecting and putting it back in until the disc is read. Sometimes the process takes 10 mins to work. So I got this cleaner.
I put this disc in and once it read. I play this "DVD" and start the cleaning process. When it reaches 100%, the process is done and it will do "clean" the lens to maximize the audio as well but I didn't need that. After that I just stick in any disc and it has been.
It works perfectly. Intended for xbox 360 and that is what I used it for. 5-star. I want to be universal and give it 4star instead but it just work so good for my purpose.

(More customer reviews)I am extremely picky about any hardware I use. Having owned both models of the PS3 and a few Xbox 360s (that I bought and sold over time) I have pretty high expectations. Personally I think Xbox live is much better then PSN which is why I jumped from PS3 back to Xbox. My big issue was the hardware. Microsoft took care of a big issue by allowing users to burn their games to the hard drive. However, the fan noise on my Xbox Elite was still driving me crazy. Now my Elite wasn't broken, my ears just seem to attune to the noise they make. It especially drove me crazy when playing games like Puzzle Quest or when browsing the dash board. In this case the PS3 fat and slim where hands down superior (hardware build wise). But like many a fans I put up with the crappy build quality for the sake of a better interface and of course my friends list.
Now onto the new Xbox 360. Let me just say that for once I am very proud of Microsoft. They seem to have taken all the complaints from users and fixed them. This is the system they should have released long ago. The very first thing I noticed is how silent this machine is. Even after running for over an hour you can barely hear the fan. I would go as far as to say it's even more silent then the PS3 slim (which I found to be louder then the fat model). The new Xbox has a strange but cool new look. I don't understand why people are complaining that it is a finger print magnet. How often do you really touch your system once it's in place? The buttons on the front are now touch sensitive instead of pressing them in, and make a cool noise I must say. I'm happy to say that even my disc drive is quite. It's almost as quite running a disc as the fans on my Elite were. There are no old school memory card ports, but they upped the USB ports to 5. 2 on the front and 3 in the back. The new 250GB hard drive is removable. There is a button on the right side vent that you can press and remove the plate. The hard drive is in a special case but it's easier to move. The only downside to this is the people that take their hard drives to their friends house, but this can be fixed by using a USB drive now.
The controller is pretty much the same as the Elites plus a couple changes. The bottom portion of the controller that was gray shaded is now a shiny black and the Xbox button is shiny chrome. All in all goes will with the package. The ear cushion on the headset is also now black instead of grey. Microsoft also has a picture of a black chat pad and wireless headset on the box for the new 360. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a black controller charger.
To close, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. It's a worthy upgrade and one that shows Microsoft is actually listening for once. Also for those planning to get Kinect there is a dedicated port so on the new system which will let you use the camera with one less cable.

Except in my case, the whole thing stopped working entirely literally one day after I used it. Xbox 360 250GB Halo Reach Console Bundle Review

(More customer reviews)I sold my older model Xbox and purchased this Reach bundle as a replacement. After unboxing and testing it out, I have to say its a huge upgrade from my previous model. It runs quieter and cooler since the "Slims" are built on the new 45nm "Valhalla" motherboard architecture which also require less power. Finally some built-in Wi-Fi too.
It looks beautiful...Bungie's custom artwork really sets this thing apart from the rest....work of art. The custom Reach controllers also look great and compliment the Xbox's Reach design theme. Not to mention you get "two" of them in this bundle....in my case I have a brand new spare now to store away for later.
The custom sounds when powering up this Xbox and opening the disc tray were neat, I liked them. Further adds to the Halo theme.
Also included as a bonus with the Reach Xbox bundle were codes for: Falcon Avatar accessory, Elite officer armor, Spartan Recon helmet, an episode of Halo Legends called "The Package", and a 2-day Xbox Live Gold trial. The console is also Kinect-ready.
5-stars, anything less would be absurd.

(More customer reviews)Just got this HDD and snapped it right in and powered up my 360 to find only 13.9 gigs of useable space, what the heck? If you can't use 20 gigs don't label it 20 gigs because I was expecting 20gigs.
I'm not looking to download a lot of stuff, really I just wanted more storage for game save and such so the missing 6gigs doesn't hurt me but if you want to download demos and movies do not get this drive. Spend the extra money and get a bigger one.
It works but I feel a little ripped off.

250G HDD Hard Disk Drive For Microsoft Xbox 360 w/Hard Drive Data Migration Transfer Cable Review

(More customer reviews)I recieved the 250 HD with Migration cable with a disc. Their were no instructions with the product. After experimenting I found out that the disc was for PC use only not for use in with the Xbox 360. I went to to Game Stop and spoke with someone and called Xbox live for help. They instucted me that the disc was not neccessary and intructed me on how to transfer the data. Well that didn't work either and emailed the dealer they emailed me instructions on how to or rather an attachment with pics. To make a long story short I could not transfer my data using the tranfer cable they sent me. I had to transfer the data from my original HD to a flashdrive and then install the 250GB HD into my Xbox 360 and transfer the data to the HD from from the flashdrive. The only reason. I didn't ask for a refund is because the 250GB HD w/Transfer cable and disc where still way cheaper than what Microsoft is asking for their 250GB HD. I suggest going just buying a 250GB HD by itself and using a flashdrive to transfer your data.
You can even use a 2.0GB falshdrive you will just have to keep switching the original and the new one back and forth if you have alot of data on your original harddrive. And if you have any data that is larger then what the flashdrive can handle then just upload the data you originally purchased off xbox market place and upload it on the new drive. It should be free since you already had purchased it. But you have to make sure you us your gamertag you orinally used to purchase your games etc. Note: Do not move your gamertag info to the flashdrive until you move all the information over to the new drive unless you have a big enough flshdrive to move it all at once. Otherwise you won't be able to move your data all over.
