De Blob 2 offers a fun, colorful, and cheery adventure similar to something you would see in a 3-D Mario game. Where most platforming games have you perform simple missions and quests, de Blob 2 integrates this formula with its genuine painting mechanics. Almost everything in the world can be painted with a wide variety of colors, from basic primary colors to more complex mixtures. As you paint and complete challenges, the world around you changes, from its music to the overall mood of the level. The game is designed so that both casual and hardcore gamers can enjoy the experience. Difficulties can be adjusted, optional challenges and collectibles can be sought after, and Pinky, Blob's companion, can enter the game at any time for 2 player blobbing. With 12 worlds, dozens of side scrolling levels, and cooperative/competitive multiplayer action, de Blob 2 is a must have for Xbox 360 owners.

(More customer reviews)I had my doubts about this game -- especially after seeing a picture of the included controllers. However, I stand corrected. This was one of the best game purchases that I've made this year. The game is very fun, and has been a hit with my family. Also, the tracking of the questions/puzzles and the variety of categories makes for an exciting and lasting experience.
For the price of a normal game, you get 4 wireless buzzer controllers, batteries, and a USB wireless controller IR port. Definitely worth it after you consider how much you actually get with the game.
I'm hoping that MS decides to expand the experience in 2 ways: 1) Through downloadable content through their Live service (in the form of new questions or puzzle types) and 2) Creates new trivia games that can utilize the same controller setup.
Scene It! is a pleasant surprise for Xbox 360 gamers who want to add some casual family/friends gaming to their system (especially for those who don't own a Wii). I hope that people buy this game just to show MS that there is a viable market for quality party games on the Xbox 360, and encourages them to release other great trivia titles.

I love that is not just Q and A trivia...the puzzles are so fun, and you can make a good guess even if you don't know the film or the answer. This is an AWESOME game!

(More customer reviews)If your a fan of the other SceneIt's for the 360, your best to avoid this low budget pile of crap. First off the entire format of the game has changed for the worse. There is no online play and no avatar support (it includes it's own characters to choose from). It has Big Button support but it seems sluggish and slow responding. It's obvious that it was not meant to use these controllers due to the fact that there is an Xbox 360 controller taking up half the screen during play to show you how to buzz in (yes seriously!!!). It reminded me of playing a low budget WII port or like going back and watching the never aired pilot of you favorite TV show. Save your money and hope Microsoft adds more downloadable content for SceneIt Box Office Smash.

(More customer reviews)We own both Xbox 360 Scene it? games. I have been a fan of the previous edition, and was excited to see a new version available with new puzzles. The thing I like about this series of games for the 360 is that the game flows well, compared to the traditional DVD-based game, and the scoring is a lot of fun. You can see where you or your team stands against your opponents in real time. The bonus scoring is fun as well. This edition (Scene it? Box Office Smash) adds an interesting element of in-game avatars that represent each player/team on screen. If you have an avatar set up on your Live account, that is who you see representing yourself in-game. The new challenges and game types are fun and are a nice addition to the previous version of the game. If you don't have the special Scene it? controllers, I would highly recommend purchasing the package deal that includes the controllers. Especially if you plan to play with "newbies".

Trivial Pursuit Review

(More customer reviews)The game is exactly as expected, you can play the classic mode against friends with an option to pass one controller or use separate controllers. The new, faster multiplayer mode which makes you share a wheel and eliminates sections of the board after gaining pieces is a lot of fun as well and is very refreshing for quick games. You can play this mode in the fraction of hours it takes to finish a classic game. Since it's faster paced it will more easily get some friendly rivalries going with your friends. It also packs a single player mode which I can't yet comment on.
As shown on the back of the box, it does not have online multiplayer. The Live logo on the game is actually there to indicate that there is downloadable content. At release, they have a FREE movies pack DLC which adds over 100 questions to mix in with the standard questions or you can play them separately.
Now for some bad. I ran into quite a few American centric questions which, being Canadian, I had no clue how to answer. May not be a problem for you. Also somewhat related, there are lots of questions where you are shown dots on a map and need to answer a question. I really wish they'd have labeled what the dots were. In the original board game you'd get a list of places, not have to know where each state is or city is in a state in the US. Lastly, the Scene It big button IR controllers do not work with the game. Yeah it would be nice if it works but it's not that bad. Since you take turns you don't really need to answer questions that fast where you can't navigate with the analog stick, and the controls are pretty easy.
I would recommend this game if you have people over a lot that may not be into playing the more hardcore titles (Halo, Gears, etc.). It's great getting some non-gamer friends and family involved on the Xbox!

You Don't Know Jack Review

(More customer reviews)As a huge fan of the original You Don't Know Jack games I was skeptical that this game would be able to live up to the high bar standards that they themselves had already set. I was not disappointed. This is a fantastic game and am very happy to play a version of You Don't Know Jack with pop references that I can actually identify with.
There are a lot of difference between this game and the originals. It's no longer up to just one person to get a question right, everyone gets a chance to guess. In the old Jack games only one person would buzz in and if they got it wrong only the remaining answers would stay. Points are based on how fast you buzz in your answer. You have 20 seconds to buzz in and you get that many points added or taken away from your score if your answers were wrong or right.
It comes with 73 different stages all with 10 questions. You will no longer get asked random questions but unique questions for the type of stage.
A great addition is the edition of a "wrong clue." You will get a hint for a clue that will randomly be the wrong answer in one of the questions. If you purposely guess the wrong clue in the set you will get 8,000 points.
The Jack Attack, great song intros, screws and all around goofy nature have stayed around and made into this game. A fantastic game for a group of friends or on-line play!
